Durante una manifestazione di Black Lives Matter Toronto contro l'islamofobia vi sono state critiche verso il presidente di sinistra Justin Trudeau, il quale ha recentemente annunciato l'accoglienza dei rifugiati nel Canada.
Secondo Black Lives Matter Toronto però le parole del presidente liberal non sarebbero confermate dai fatti e la cofondatrice dell'organizzazione Yusra Khogali ha dichiarato che Troudeau sarebbe un "terrorista suprematista bianco".
